Why royal fans might be getting a very special glimpse of Princess Charlotte next week
- Princess Charlotte will start reception next week, at the same school her brother has been attending since 2017.
- It’s likely Kensington Palace will release new pictures to mark Princess Charlotte’s first day.
- This follows royal news that Prince George was given an official apology after being ‘mocked’ for ballet lessons.
The little royals are growing up fast, and it’s only a few days now until Princess Charlotte joins brother George at ‘big school’.
And if previous milestones for the little Cambridges are anything to go by, we might get to see a new picture of Charlotte on her first day at Thomas's Battersea.
When Prince George started at the same school, royal fans were treated to cute pictures of the future king – so we’re hoping for the same on Charlotte’s first day!
And it seems like Kate and Wills’ little girl is very excited about her big day, and can’t wait to join her big brother according to PEOPLE.
An insider told the publication: ‘She can’t wait to be with George at big school. She is so excited about it all.
‘They are close in age, and they spend so much time together. Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other.’

According to royal biographer Penny Junor, little Charlotte will also be able to lean on her brother for support as he’ll be there to show her ‘the ropes’.
She told Hello! magazine: ‘Prince George is a very protective and lovely older brother. I’m sure he'll look after his little sister and take great pride in showing her the ropes.’
The royal duo have been busy having lots of fun this summer, and were spotted being their usual cheeky selves at the boat race where their mum and dad were competing at - what an adorable twosome!
