Pretty Woman actor Richard Gere and his Spanish wife Alejandra Silva are reportedly expecting their second baby just nine months after welcoming their son.
The 70-year-old film star and Alejandra, who is almost half his age at 36, welcomed their firstborn son Alexander together back in February.
Now Spanish magazine HOLA! has claimed that activist Alejandra is three months into her pregnancy.
While the pair are yet to confirm the news publicly, it is thought that the little one will make an appearance around springtime in 2020.
The couple both have their own children from previous relationship, with Richard sharing 19-year-old son Homer James Jigem with his ex wife Carey Lowell and Alejandra sharing six-year-old son Albert with her ex husband Govind Friedland.
The lovers married in April last year with a ceremony in Spain before heading off to New York to celebrate with family and friends.
At the time of their marriage, the two of them swooned over one another in a sweet interview.
“I feel like I’m in a true fairy tale. Without a doubt, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world,” Alejandra told Hello! magazine.
Gushing over his new wife, Richard added, “I’m the happiest man in the universe.
“How could I not be? I’m married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, who’s fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, who’s a great cook – and who makes the best salads in the world!”
The September following the wedding, news of the Gere’s imminent arrival was confirmed.
In a very special Instagram post Alejandra shared a photo of the Dalai Lama blessing her pregnancy bump, beside the caption, ‘A very special moment just a few minutes ago . . . Getting blessings for our precious to come.
‘We couldn’t say it before telling HH Dalai Lama.’
