Stacey Solomon shares honest Instagram post revealing the struggles she is facing sleeping and breastfeeding with newborn baby Rex.
The Loose Women Star, who welcomed her first child with Joe Swash last month, has shared an honest update about her struggles sleeping as a new mum.
The mum-of-three took to Instagram to share two pictures of herself on the couch with her new son catching up on some must-needed sleep.
The 29-year-old’s post comes after boyfriend Joe arrived home to Stacey sprawled on the sofa snoozing.
And, it seems Joe had amusingly positioned a pillow on exhausted Stacey’s head as a joke.
Joe captured the hilarious moment and shared it to his Instagram.
He captioned the photo: ‘I promise this photo is 100% NOT set up! This was exactly how I found @staceysolomon when I got back from the gym 🤣😂😘 #well deserved.’
In response, Stacey candidly opened up about her exhaustion admitting her day had been a ‘total write off’ to her 1.8m followers on her own Instagram.
She captioned the photos: ‘Today has been a total write-off… i had so many plans and executed zero of them… I’m so behind with pumping, Barely getting enough off in time for feeds’.
She continued: ‘Looking out the window at the moment, dreading the sun going down. Thank goodness it’s summer! Did anyone else feel like that? I needed to sleep so badly today but I get sad when I sleep through the day and I wake up and it’s nearly night time! 😂
‘ But it’s OK tomorrow is a new day and ill be ready for it, Probably, Maybe, might actually not be though haha! P.S @realjoeswashy if you think I believe for one second that that pillow just happened to be there – you’re wrong! Ill get you back, right after I get my mind back! 😂.’
Stacey has been honest throughout her pregnancy and life as a new mum.
Last week, Stacey shared a candid make-up free selfie of her breastfeeding her weeks old baby, jokingly admitting he could not ‘latch onto her Pepperami nipples.’
And, the TV star honestly opened up about ‘neglecting’ her older two sons while having to prioritise breastfeeding newborn Rex.
Stacey is also mum to 11-year-old Zachary and seven-year-old Leighton from previous relationships.
Congratulations to Stacey and Joe again, and happy snoozing Stacey, you deserve it!
