Commenters were quick to compliment Ferne on the sweet snap, with one writing: 'Such a gorg pic!! u look absolutely amazing 😍' and another adding: 'You look amazing you will make a great mum with your friends and family behind you.'

Ferne, who rose to fame on ITV's The Only Way is Essex, announced that she was expecting back in April, with a statement to OK! magazine which addressed the existing rumours that she and now ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins would be welcoming a child together.

The story of the 26-year-old's pregnancy broke shortly after it was revealed that Arthur had been arrested over an acid attack which took place at a nightclub in East London. In the statement, a spokesperson for the reality star confirmed that the couple has since separated, referring to Arthur as Ferne's 'ex-boyfriend'.

The representative told the title of her pregnancy: 'Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people's support and obviously her first concern is for her child's health.'

'Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under.'

'Nor does she wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise from the events of the last week.'

'Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and heathy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy. Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday.'

Reports of Ferne and Arthur's relationship first emerged on The Sun online in June 2016, and the pair have subsequently had an on-and-off relationship.

Earlier this year, Ferne told OK! that the couple had plans to move in together later this month, explaining: 'We spend every night together anyway. Moving in is definitely the next step. And I know that seems a bit rushed, but when you know, you know.'

However, when the allegations of Arthur's involvement in the attack came to light, Ferne's team released a statement which read: 'Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries. She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle [the nightclub in question]; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.'

'As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately.'
