Fans raise concerns about Ferne McCann's health over her choice of baby 'pram'

The mum-of-one posted a photo on Instagram which rang alarm bells among some followers

A seemingly innocent photo posted by Ferne McCann has raised eyebrows among a handful of eagle-eyed fans.

In the snap shared to Instagram yesterday, the TOWIE star can be seen pulling a funny face at her baby whose face is hidden from the camera as she relaxes in her 'pram'.

'I see that tongue Munchkinette 😋,' Ferne captioned the sweet image.

On seeing the upload, many were quick to state their worries about the distance between the new mum and her little girl.

'That pram looks so small, hope your back is okay' said one.

Another of Ferne's 2 million followers on the social networking site mused: 'It hurts my back just looking at it.'

'Wow that looks like a doll's pram,' exclaimed a third user of the picture-sharing platform.

On spotting the concerned comments, Ferne was quick to point out that little Sunday was in fact not in a pram at all.

Replying to one individual, the 27-year-old stated that her daughter was simply in her car seat.

Made by Doona, the product claims to be the 'first car seat with integrated wheels, changing from car seat to stroller in seconds'.

Keen to defend Ferne and her choice of baby transportation, one admirer hit back at the critics.

'This isn't a new thing - you take the car seat out and clip onto the wheels. They're handy if your child is asleep and you don't want to disturb them,' they said.

Another piped up: 'I had this car seat/pram for the first six months. Loved it, so easy!'

Ferne - who gave birth to Sunday on 2 November 2017 - recently revealed that she's fed up of critics constantly commenting on her parenting decisions.

'I am so sick of women being judged continuously and, as a new mum, I have never felt so judged,' she told OK! magazine.

'Being a new mum is pressure enough without having my every move scrutinised and falsified.'
