'Be careful' Fears for Ferne McCann's daughter after star shares new photo on social media

She welcomed her first child earlier this month

Ferne McCann has sparked concern from fans after sharing a picture of her newborn daughter's nursery.

The 27-year-old welcomed her firstborn, a baby girl, on November 2 this year, and revealed her name as Sunday.

Taking to her Instagram account, the former TOWIE star shared a snap of Sunday's new sleeping situation with her 1.8 million followers.

The post - which has had over 31k likes and over 240 comments - shows a grey pom pom blanket, owl cushion and panda stuffed toy along with a chevron styled SnuzPod.

Alongside the snap, Ferne wrote: 'Sunday's @snuzuk Cot & Snuzpod from @bababoomloughton all set up 😊 I cannot wait to add some girly, pink accessories now. I went for the #snuzpod so she can sleep right next to me safe & sound (Owl cushion from @livandprimrose Cloud cushion from @themodernnursery 💗 @poddle_pod in cot)

The picture got many fans praising Ferne for the 'beautiful' nursery, but the SnuzPod sparked concern among some followers who said it's not safe for baby Sunday.

One follower wrote: 'Beautiful. However please look into safe sleeping by the lullaby trust, it's not recommend for babies to sleep in any sleeping aids or positioners. Congratulations by the way.'

Whereas this fan hit a bit harder, advising the new mum to do some research: 'please look up the pods as lots of COT DEATH with them. Congratulations and enjoy xx'

A third follower advised Ferne to 'be careful', before going on to write: 'Be careful with the pods as recent study on cot death. Don't want to worry you but good old fashioned Moses basket next to bed, good ventilation etc. Good luck and many congratulations.'

However, other parents were praising the pod in the comments section: 'I really don't know how I ever survived without a snuzpod 4 my 1st? There amaze!', while another fan said: 'Love my snuzpod ferne good choice!'

Concern from Ferne's fans comes after baby sleep positioners were recently removed from some shops in the UK, following concerns that they can cause suffocation and lead to death.
