Mum-of-two Frankie Bridge shared the sad news with her followers on Instagram that her grandad had passed away.
Frankie Bridge has been inundated with messages of support after she revealed her grandad has died on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram to inform her 921,000 followers of the sad news, Frankie, who is married to husband Wayne Bridge, shared a black and white picture of her holding her grandad's hand.
The caption said: 'The kindest soul. Such a gentleman and singing till the end…the one and only Grandad Hunnybunny. Finally with his love.'
In just 18 hours the picture received over 26,000 likes and more than 200 comments from Frankie's fans and concerned friends.
Soon to be mum-of-three Giovanna Fletcher wrote: 'Sending you so much love!', while Lisa Snowdon added: 'Ahh Frank. Sending you love my darling.'
Former The Saturday's bandmate Rochelle Humes also consoled Frankie and said she could relate to the difficult time having lost her nan earlier this year.
The mum-of-two wrote: 'I know how hard this is having lost my Nan recently, sending lots of love to you and your family at this difficult time ❤❤.'
Frankie's fans sent their well-wishes with one writing: 'Sorry for your loss. Such a beautiful photo. I treasure the pic I had done with my dearest Nan.'
Another added: 'So sorry for your loss @francescabridge sending you and all your family so much love at this sad time xxxx.'
Frankie's loss has come at a difficult time for the singer and she'll likely be putting on a brave face for her youngest son's birthday.
Carter, three today (15 August), received a sweet tribute for his birthday on his mum's Instagram which included a collection of adorable pictures.
Captioning the post Frankie wrote: 'Happy Birthday to My Pudding. Baby Bear. Little Legs. Baby T-Rex. Little Monkey. Bumble Bee. My Baby Boy... 3!!! Luckily you grew into your head and we couldn’t imagine our life without you. Xxxx #birthday #son #boy #3'.
