Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has posted a close of picture of her 14-year-old daughter Apple and fans can't believe how much they lookalike.
Gwyneth is mum also 12-year-old Moses and shares both children with her ex-husband, musician Chris Martin.
Taking to Instagram to post a loving message to her daughter for National Daughter’s Day Gwyneth wrote in the caption: ‘Happy #nationaldaughtersday Apple Martin, it’s like i conjured you from a dream, you make my life.’
Gwyneth rarely posts pictures like this of her children and it has proved very popular with her 4.5 million followers. In under 24 hours the picture has already been liked nearly 400,000 times and it has over 4,000 comments.
One person wrote: ‘So beautiful both of you what a gorgeous thing to write xxx’.
Another said: ‘Oh my life she’s adorable and just like her mama although I can see her dad in there too xxxx👑👑👑👑👑👑’.
A third added: ‘The Apple certainly did not fall far from the tree….’
The last time Gwyneth posted a picture of Apple on her social media was to mark her 14th birthday back in early May.
The mum-of-two has had a busy few months as she launched her first international pop-up store in London for her wellness and lifestyle website Goop.
Gwyneth set up the company ten years ago and in a special anniversary episode of her Goop podcast, she opened up about how she overcame postpartum depression and ‘broke out’ of it.
Gwyneth has previously spoken about her battle with postnatal depression and she has now revealed that she rejected medical treatment in favour of a lifestyle overhaul.
She revealed: ‘I had postnatal depression, as you know, after my son. A doctor tried to put me on antidepressants and I thought, if I need them, then yes, I’ll come back to it.’
Gwyneth admits that antidepressant tablets can be ‘lifesavers’ for some people but she felt more comfortable seeking alternative treatments.
She explained: ‘I thought, well, what if I went to therapy and I started exercising again, and I stopped drinking alcohol and I just gave myself a period of regeneration and I slept more? I really broke out of it.’
