Helen Flanagan is engaged to her long-term partner Scott Sinclair.
The Coronation street star, who is currently heavily pregnant with her second child, was surprised by her footballer beau while the couple were visiting a Disney theme park.
Sharing the loved-up pair’s happy news with the world, Scott posted a photo of the moment he got down on one knee to his official Instagram account.
The adorable snap shows a very shocked Helen smiling broadly at her beau, while Scott returns the actress’s happy smile .The 29-year chose to pop the question in front of the famous Sleeping Beauty Castle, which is magically lit up behind the couple in the photo.
Scott captioned the photo, 'She said YES,' along with a love heart and a sparkling ring emoji.
Fans of the footballer and his bride-to-be were quick to flood Scott’s Instagram with lovely comments of congratulations for the couple.
‘Congratulations Scotty and Helen’ wrote one pleased fan, while another marvelled at his choice of location for the engagement saying, ‘Wow mate. Doing it in style! Congratulations!’
Scott Sinclair and Helen Flanagan have been together since 2009, and already have a two-year-old daughter together named Matilda.
The couple revealed they were expecting their second child, another baby girl, back in December last year, and Helen’s due date is now fast approaching.
The 27-year-old soap star revealed last week that she has now picked up the ‘final bits for my hospital bag’ in preparation for the delivery of the new arrival.
Helen has opened up previously about how she struggled with serious sickness in her first trimester of her second pregnancy, and was diagnosed with hypermesis gravidarum, which the Duchess of Cambridge also suffered from during all three of her pregnancies.
'I have just been really poorly' Helen confessed to OK! magazine. 'I couldn't go to work and do any filming. I had hypermesis gravidarum, it lasted for five weeks. It doesn't sound like a long time but I was just so ill. Luckily it cleared up at ten weeks' she said.
