'Delighted' Holly and Nick Candy welcome their second child

Holly and Nick Candy have confirmed that they've welcomed their second child together.

Former Neighbours star Holly, née Valance, and her husband Nick announced the happy news in a statement, with a representative for the couple saying to MailOnline: 'I can confirm that Holly Candy gave birth a few days ago to a baby daughter.'

'Nick and Holly are delighted with the news and mother and baby are both doing well.'

The spokesperson also revealed the baby name that the pair had chosen for their little girl: Nova Skye Coco.

Holly and Nick are already proud parents to three-year-old daughter Luka Violet Toni, who was born in November 2013.

The actress and singer, 34, met her property tycoon partner in 2009 at a mutual friend's dinner party, and they tied the knot in a lavish London ceremony three years later.

'I never believed it when people said that sometimes you meet someone and you know he's the one but, just to be totally cheesy and clichéd, it was like that the first time we met,' Holly said to the Daily Mail of their relationship in the past.

'It wasn't like, "Oh my God, I am bowled over," it just felt peaceful, genuine, real and normal – and so nice.'

'All anybody wants in life is a companion to share things with – and Nick is mine. Now I've got a friend doing all the crazy stuff and it's great. He gets what I do and I get what he does. That's it in a nutshell; it works.'

A year after their wedding, Nick and Holly became parents for the first time, and in 2015 her sister Olympia revealed to the same paper that they hoped to expand their family even further.

'They're ready for kid number two,' she declared. 'I just feel like it's time. I feel like they're ready.'
