Ian 'H' Watkins reveals the names of his twin boys

They're very Welsh indeed!

Former Steps star Ian 'H' Watkins has welcomed twin boys with partner Craig Ryder via surrogate - and revealed their choice of adorable Welsh baby names for the pair.

'Macsen & Cybi Ryder-Watkins (Pronounced Macksen & Cubby) Born 6/3/16 We are more in love each day', Ian told his followers on Twitter, accompanying the reveal with a sweet picture of his boys.

Macsen is a Welsh variation of the Latin name Maximus, meaning 'greatest', while Cybi is the name of a Welsh saint.

The couple have clearly taken to fatherhood like ducks to water, sharing almost daily photographs and messages about their sons.

Ian, 39, announced the arrival of his twins on his Twitter account earlier this month, sharing a snap of the hospital wrist bands of 'Baby 'A' Boy' and 'Baby 'B' Boy', who arrived on 6th March.

'We are DADS! We are totally & utterly in Love ! #Twins', he exclaimed alongside the intimate photo.

He later added an image of a pair of newborn feet, asking 'How is it possible to feel SO much love in an instant ???'

Ian and Craig announced that they had two bundles of joy on the way back in December 2015, sharing an animated video of the two of them awaiting the babies' appearance.

'Together, we've been on lots of adventures,' they wrote in the captions for the YoutTube clip. 'But our biggest adventure is about to begin!'

They then showed a clip of one of their sons' scans, breaking the happy news that it was twins.

The couple have been trying to become parents for years, and in 2012 a surrogate who was carrying a baby for them sadly experienced a miscarriage.

Ian told The People that it was the 'worst moment of his life.'

'We were thinking of names, and we even planned our first Christmas as a family. We were both ready to be Dads,' he revealed.

'I just feel really empty and helpless. The only person who can help me is Craig.'

'The way I try to look at it is that there's another little star in the sky. It just wasn't meant to be for us at this time.'

Now, throughout early 2016, the pair have been sharing numerous photos and videos of their preparations for the new arrivals...
