Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek, 39, and wife Kimberly have announced the arrival of their new baby via the sweetest Instagram post.
The couple, who have been married for six years, already have three children together.
The latest addition to their brood is a little girl who James has revealed they will be called Emilia Van Der Beek. Emilia joins as the youngest Van Der Beek sibling to two sisters, five-year-old Olivia and two-year-old Annabel, as well as a four-year-old brother Joshua.
In what could be a sweet dedication to one of James’ best pals, it’s thought that Joshua could be named after Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey alongside James in Dawson’s Creek.
Uploading a black and white picture of all his little ones looking lovingly at their new sister, James captioned his Instagram post:
‘Happy to share that two days ago, @vanderkimberly and I were lucky enough to welcome a little baby girl into the world… Emilia Van Der Beek Crazy how deeply in love you can fall with someone you just met 😍’
Congratulations were quick to flood in from James’ 161K Instagram fans. User giveusgrace1976 commented saying: ‘Congratulations! Your family is so beautiful, James and Kimberly 💗’, while another user, mallaneck, said: ‘What an amazing photo @vanderjames 😍 congratulations to you and your beautiful family ❤️’
James and Kimberly’s new baby brings the total of Dawson’s Creek babies up to a healthy six, with Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri Cruise and Michelle Williams’ daughter Matilda being the two eldest at nine and 10.
And it looks like new mum Kimberly took no time to rest after her new baby was born. She posted a snap to her Instagram of the Easter gifts she had arranged for her four little ones, along with another picture of two of the Van Der Beeks hunting for Easter eggs just a couple of days after she gave birth.
