The caption read: 'Thrilled beyond belief to announce that we are once again adding to our family 😍

'And I say 'beyond belief' because some people are probably wondering if we're out of our minds.

'Which we might very well be... but I couldn't be more excited. Or grateful. Or in awe of @vanderkimberly.'

He also shared a light-humoured post showing him helping Kimberly put her shoes on.

James wrote: 'Of the six people currently living in our house... the number who can reliably put their own shoes on by themselves is now down to three. #pregnancy 😊 (And 🏆 to @vanderkimberly for being the one who sits the most still while I do it ).'

In an interview with People magazine the actor said that as soon as his first born Olivia arrived, his family became his priority.

He said: 'The second I had kids, they immediately became my priority and everything I did existed to support the life that was all about them in a good way. What's been fun about the work that I've been doing is that it's so playful and kids bring out that playful side of you, so I think that's gone hand-on-hand.'
