Fans slam Jessica Simpson over photo of daughter on social media

Some weren't happy...

Fans have slammed mum-of-two Jessica Simpson over a family photo she posted on social media.

The star took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her son Ace's Moana-themed birthday party, where he was celebrating his fourth birthday.

In the cute family snap, Jessica posed with her husband Eric Johnson, her two children Maxwell and Ace, as well as two actors impersonating Disney characters Maui and Moana.

Fans were quick to gush over the adorable photo, commenting to say what a beautiful family the singer has.

One fan said: 'Omg Jessica, your family is so beautiful. Your daughter is your mini!'

A second commented 'Lovely little family, gorgeous kiddies', while a third said 'Your kids are absolutely gorgeous'.

However, some fans questioned her five-year-old daughter's pose, asking Jessica why she was making a 'duck face'.

'I'm sorry.. I just can't get over the fact that your daughter is always doing the duck face at 5 yrs old', one said.

Another added: 'Why is your daughter always making duck lips?'

Not everyone thought the pose was bad however, with one fan commenting: 'Omg! Your daughter, the perfect Poser! 😙'

It's not the first time Jessica's fans have slammed her for her daughter's posing. She was recently criticised for a picture of the five year old in a bikini, and another time when Maxwell was photographed pulling a similar face, with some saying she's too young to be doing such 'sexy poses'.

'Sorry but she is too young to be posing like that, all the time in the world to be a grown up', one said.

Others said they would never let their children do the same: 'Would never let my young daughter act like that, but I guess her mother acts the same way so not her fault'.
