Former Big Brother star Josie Gibson has given birth to a baby boy... after her waters broke at her baby shower.

Sharing a snap of the hospital cot on Instagram, Josie, 33, revealed in a sweet post that she and her partner Terry had named their son Reggie-James.

Josie, 33, wrote: ‘Apologies to all those people I have yet to thank and get back to. I have been in a crazy little bubble and not really with it. My waters broke at my baby shower last Wednesday and one thing lead to another… we are delighted to announce we have a beautiful very little baby boy with the loveliest little soul.'

She added: ‘He came out of the Sunroof on Sunday 09/09/2018 (love his birth date) at 6.35 by the best surgeons and @ruhbath staff. I always felt in super safe hands.’

She continued: ‘We have since been staying at the @dyson NICU ward at @ruhbath where the nurses and midwives have been super heroes. I watch them every day, how dedicated, passionate and busy they work on their 12 hour shifts and it puts me to shame.

'They are truly amazing. I would like to Thank Mr @dyson and his family for helping build such an amazing NICU ward.’

The reality star had discovered she was expecting a boy back in June when she appeared live on Loose Women and had a scan.

Josie was thrilled with the discovery, after saying she was adamant she was expecting a little girl after doing "all the old wives tales" tricks to guess the gender'.

The expectant mum then admitted she was considering Jack or Diggory as a name - although has obviously since changed her mind!

At the time, Josie said: 'We are so excited! I feel relaxed and calm. Although I think we are in shock. We left our first scan and I just looked at Terry and said, "What have we done?!" Life is going to change a lot, but we are so happy.'

Congrats, Josie!
