Katie Price slammed by fans for calling her daughter 'Princess Pricey'

Katie Price has come under fire from fans online after posting a clip of herself with daughter Princess on Instagram, calling her by her own last name.

The seemingly innocent clip caused outrage with some of Katie's followers after she referred to her daughter as 'Princess Pricey' instead of ex-husband Peter Andre's surname, which is Princess' legal given name. 'I love my Princess Pricey soooo much she is just PERFECT,' Katie captioned the clip.

Princess' full name is Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther Andre, and fans were quick to notice that Katie used her surname of Price in the post instead of Peter's.

'Not getting enough attention so you create this by calling her that! You need to grow up! You really are embarrassing yourself now!' wrote one furious fan, while another commented: 'I thought exactly the same just posting it with princess price to wind up Peter and get some media attention.'

'Sorry Katie so childish to call her a price. Still trying to point score with Pete after all these years is sad 😔,' a third agreed.

However, while some of Katie's followers were quick to slam the mum of five for the supposed name change, others rushed to the star's defence.

'Take no notice Katie on the haters there only jealous you can call your daughter what the hell you want,' retaliated one fan, with another adding: 'People creating drama for nothing.'

Another loyal fan of Katie's explained that Katie's caption merely referred to the model's nickname of 'The Pricey', and was the star's way of expressing how similar she and daughter Princess were.

'She doesnt say princess price she says princess pricey....she means that princess is like 'the pricey' as she calls herself,' commented one of Katie's followers.

'Pricey I believe is Katie's cheeky side, hence why she called princess that. It's all fun,' added another loyal supporter of the star.

Katie hasn't responded to any of the negative comments online since posting the snap, and ex-husband Peter is currently enjoying a holiday in Dubai with wife Emily.
