Khloe Kardashian has sparked concern among fans after flying to Japan while eight months pregnant.
The expectant mum, who's due to welcome her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson over the next few weeks, took to Instagram to post a picture from Tokyo, where she travelled with her sisters Kim and Kourtney.
The snap sparked concern among some of her 73 million followers, who commented to ask if it was safe for the reality TV star to be flying so far along in her pregnancy.
One commented: 'Why would you risk travel during a pregnancy??', while another said: 'She's 8 months and flying that far? Not too smart.'
A third added: 'Isn't that dangerous to travel while eight months of pregnancy? just curious.'
A fourth urged Khloe to be careful: 'Should you be travelling to Tokyo while you 8 months pregnant 😭😭😭😱😱😱 be careful'.
However, others wrote to point out that she has a medical team looking after her, and they would probably have advised against the trip if it was dangerous for her or the baby.
'Khloe , your fans are worried about you travelling but I am sure the Dr would not let you travel if not safe . Have fun can't wait to meet your baby . Safe travels ❤💖💗💟', one said.
Another added: 'So what if @khloekardashian is in another country while she's 8 months pregnant. LET HER LIVE! I'm sure she's not alone.'
NHS advice for pregnant women is that it's 'normally safe to fly while you're pregnant', but most airlines will not allow you to travel after week 36 of pregnancy.
She revealed on February 6, with a picture on social media, that she was 29 weeks into her pregnancy - which means she's currently 32 weeks.
'Baby mama KoKo! 29 Weeks and counting ❤️', she wrote at the time.
Khloe had previously revealed to fans that she's eight months pregnant on social media, with a selfie showcasing her blossoming bump and the caption '8 months Bumpin'.
She's yet to reveal whether her first child will be a boy or a girl, but the big gender reveal will be happening this weekend on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
