Huge congratulations are in order for Kian Egan and Jodi Albert after the safe arrival of their third child – and we love the baby name they’ve chosen!
37-year-old Kian took to Instagram to upload the sweetest snap of his new son, sharing the post with his 85k followers on Saturday.
Alongside the black and white pic of the new arrival, the former Westlife star revealed they had named their ‘little cub’ Cobi.
‘Our little cub is finally here!,’ he wrote. ‘Cobi Egan was born yesterday at 5.37pm.. mummy and baby are doing amazing!!! We are all so in love with him!!! 🐻💙’
The congratulations from his followers soon rolled in, with one exclaiming: ‘Congratulations!! beautiful photo, much love to your whole family ❤👶’.
Others commented on the arrival of yet another boy to the Egan family, with another writing: ‘Wow… another Boy…💙💙💙💙’, ‘Omgggg 3 boys ! Wow you guys are going to have a blast ! Congratulations so happy for you ! 😘😘’
‘Congratulations on Cobi’s birth. So glad everyone is doing well’ said a third fan. ‘Congratulations to mummy Daddy family enjoy your little bundle of joy I love the name ❤️❤️❤️xxx’
The couple, who married in 2009, are already parents to five-year-old son Koa and two-year-old son Zeke.
Earlier this year Kian took to Instagram to reveal that the pair were expecting their third child.
‘Look at what wifey is reading again!’ he teased beside the cover of Your Pregnancy Bible. ‘Here we go again #jodialbert baby no.3 is on the way!!!’
But the couple may not stop at three, with Jodi previously confessing she and Kian would like to have ‘three or four’ children.
The Daily Mail reported that 34-year-old Jodi said: ‘… Kian is from a big family of seven, so ideally we’d like three or four.
‘The Irish have big families. We’d love a girl, but so long as they were happy and healthy, that’s all that really matters.’
When asked how she felt when she learned she was expecting a second son, she added: ‘We’d like a girl at some point but we just wanted a healthy, happy baby.
‘I never dreamt before Koa of being a mum to little boys, but now I’m obsessed with boys – they’re such cool little dudes.’
