Malin Andersson has announced the happy news that she is pregnant ahead of the new series of Love Island, which launches tonight (4 June).
The reality star is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, Tom Kemp. The 25-year-old rose to fame back in 2016 when she entered Love Island but she didn’t find long-term love on the show.
Malin met Tom in January and has spoken to The Sun about taking their relationship to the next level to become parents.
Malin said: ‘I am feeling quite shocked about being pregnant to be honest. It hasn’t sunk in yet. My mum passed away in November and within the same year I will be bringing a new life into the world. I would like a girl. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a girl as well.’
She added: ‘I met Tom back in November on a night out. I met him a week before my mum died weirdly. We stayed in touch but I didn’t want to date around that time but he pursued me. We started dating end of January and we spend every day together, we are the same person it’s funny.’
Although Malin might not have found love on the show she says that Tom is someone she can see herself with for life and described him as her soul mate.
Tom already has two young children from a previous relationship, which lasted nine years but broke down in November.
Malin and Tom started dating in January and are now having a baby together
Speaking about Tom’s children, Malin said that he is a ‘really good dad’ to them but that she doesn’t really see them because she doesn’t ‘get on’ with their mum.
Malin told The Sun that she is now living in the home that Tom and his ex were raising their children in.
Malin hasn’t announced how far along she is and is yet to show us a picture of her growing baby bump but we hope it won’t be too long!
