We all love budget supermarket Aldi and their great deals, but one mum has figured out how to make your next visit even cheaper.

If you’re not already familiar, Aldi offers ‘yellow sticker’ deals which allow shoppers to grab bargain buys, especially when it comes to more expensive items such as packets of meat or fish.

But turns out there's an entire hour when shoppers can take advantage of the best bargains, even though the stickers across the items are red which may confuse some shoppers. Don’t let the colour fool you – it’s still half price!

Leslie Horton shared her experience on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains, revealing that the best time to get your shop done is 8am. Yes, it’s early, but there’s a good reason for it!

'Turns out going to Aldi at 8am is not only quiet, but a bargain fest too', Leslie wrote on a post that has since generated over 400 likes and plenty of comments from other savvy shoppers.

By going there early, Leslie was able to grab herself plenty of Aldi bargains, with a trolley full of meat, veg, ready meals and more.

She’s definitely not the only one either, with one shopper writing: ‘8am every morning at Aldi, I grab loads for half price or less! Never had an issue with any of it, it's all been delicious.’

Is starting your day early is the best way to save money on your weekly shop? Tom Church, co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk certainly thinks so, as he told The Sun: ‘Looking at Leslie's fantastic shopping picture, it's clear she will be saving £100s a month.

‘If you get everything half price consistently, that will add up to a lot.’

Whilst you’re there, Aldi have brought back their baby and toddler event if you need to stock up on anything for little ones. From furniture to nappies – it’s all there!

Do you think you’ll start getting up early to go shopping from now on? Let us know your thoughts!
