A mum has shared a genius hack to get kids to tidy up their toys and we bet all parents will want to follow her lead...
Getting your children to tidy up after hours of playing with their toys can be a hard thing to achieve.
Somehow we always end up doing it for them, otherwise the entire house will turn into a Lego minefield – and no one wants that.
But if you thought there was no solution to this very common parenting dilemma, there is one hack you might want to try.
Enter the ‘f**ket bucket’. Mum blogger Jessica McGinty shared her genius idea on social media, and her clever yet super simple hack quickly went viral.
Whenever children leave their toys laying around, they go in the buckets. If by the end of the day anything is still in the bucket, it’s going in the bin.
Writing on Facebook alongside a picture of the setup, the mum wrote: ‘Today I got the kids fucket buckets ™️.
‘If they leave it laying around, it goes in their bucket. If it’s still there at bedtime it goes in the bin because fucket if I’m cleaning it up.’
The idea got a lot of positive feedback from other parents, who said they’re planning to buy some ‘f**ket buckets’ of their own, and was shared over 24,000 times.
One said: ‘Think I need to start doing this’. Another added: ‘I’m going to need bigger f**kets with the amount of cr*p my lot leave about.’
Some also mentioned that throwing them in the bin is a waste of money, so maybe donating them to a charity is a better idea!
