Natasha Bedingfield is starting 2018 with a very exciting new role – she’s just become a mum!
The singer – who found fame back in 2004 when she released her debut album Unwritten – welcomed her first child into the world shortly before the close of 2017.
Natasha shared the happy news with her fans by posting a sweet picture on Instagram along with the words: ‘Omg! Guess what just happened at the very end of this year! The happiest new year ever!’
The image shows Natasha beaming from a hospital bed while holding up a Starbucks cup displaying the word ‘Mum’ in black ink. Showing off her natural beauty, Natasha goes without make-up in the photo and wears her blonde hair down.
Natasha’s fans were quick to send the new mum congratulatory messages, with one writing: ‘Such beautiful news Natasha! Enjoy the bliss of some of the deepest love you will ever know. God’s love is all wrapped up in a baby!:). Congrats! You are a stellar mother’.
Another added: ‘Congrats! that’s the best thing ever to start with on a new year!’
Although the British star is yet to reveal the name of her tiny tot, she recently confirmed that she was expecting a boy in another post online featuring her new music video.
