Party of Five's Neve Campbell announces she's adopted her second child with longtime boyfriend JJ Feild

Neve Campbell has revealed that she's adopted her second child with longtime boyfriend JJ Feild.

The Party of Five star announced the lovely news that her family had expanded from three to four members, in a sweet post on social media.

Alongside a picture of the new family of four, she explained how they adopted a little boy named Raynor five months ago, but had to wait to share the news until the adoption process was completed.

The actress wrote: 'Sheer joy!!!!....So it’s been a secret up until now as JJ and I wanted to wait until it was official but we adopted a beautiful baby boy 5 months ago. His name is Raynor and we are madly in love with him.'

The mum also said that her six-year-old son Caspian is loving being a big brother to little Raynor.

She said: 'Our 6 year old son Caspian is over the moon and asks every morning “Can I hold my baby? Can I feed my baby? Can I play with my baby”. It’s the most incredible thing we’ve experienced. We’re so grateful for this beautiful light coming into our lives and we think of and are grateful to his birth family every day for such an incredible gift.

'This picture was taken moments after our adoption became official yesterday and I’ve been dying to share our news with you all!'

Fans were quick to congratulate the actress on the new addition to her brood, with one saying: 'As an adopted person this warms my heart so much. You are so wonderful to do this ♥️♥️. Adopted mums and dads are the very very best ♥️♥️♥️'.

Another also commented: '❤️❤️❤️amazing @nevecampbell he is so lucky and you have and will give this baby the best future and he will be loved...'.

The 44-year-old got together with British-American actor JJ Feild, 40, in 2011 and they welcomed their first son, Caspian, in August 2012.
