Congratulations are in order for Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine, as the pair have just welcomed their third child – a baby girl!
The proud parents took to Twitter to announce the happy news, and even revealed their baby name choice.
Take Me Out host Paddy tweeted the message: ‘Welcome Felicity! The boys are officially out numbered in our house. Let the maternity see the leave!’, which appeared alongside an image detailing his new daughter’s name, birth date of 9th September 2016, and weight of 8lbs 2oz.
Paddy followed with another tweet thanking the staff at St Mary’s Hospital for helping his baby girl: ‘Thank you to all the Dr’s, nurses, wonderful maternity staff and the amazing team in NICU at St Marys hospital who helped our baby girl. 💝’
Christine also took to Twitter to share the exciting news, tweeting the same image as her hubby with the caption: ‘Welcome to the world Felicity 💖 and a special thank you to St Marys hospital NICU and maternity staff.’
Little Felicity will join her big brother and sister, three-year-old twins Leo and Penelope. Fans have been flooding the pair with messages of congratulations, with one tweeting: ‘Huge congratulations to you both!! Fantastic news. Welcome to the world Felicity! 👍👍’ and another adding ‘Happy days!! 😀 So many congratulations to you and your wife!! 😊👌’
Paddy and Christine, who’ve been married since 2011 after meeting at a tennis tournament and fashion show in 2008, first announced the news that they were expecting their third child back in April in OK! magazine.
‘We’re over the moon,’ Christine said at the time. ‘I’ve wanted more ever since they [the twins] were born. We know exactly when we conceived – over Christmas – because Paddy has been busy touring.’
It took the couple three years to conceive twins Leo and Penelope, welcoming their children in the summer of 2013. Congratulations to the new family of five!
