This should be one of the happiest times of Jordin Sparks's life after announcing she's expecting her first child, a boy, with husband Dana Isaiah.
But the former American Idol winner is nursing a broken heart after tragically losing four loved ones in the space of a week.
The singer shared her heartbreak in a touching Instagram tribute after her teenage step-sister Bryanna Jackson-Frias, her cousin Q and her friends Rasual Butler and Leah LaBelle all passed away during the course of the week.
Admitting her heart was 'heavy & broken', Jordin shared a series of sweet images with her 1.5 million Instagram followers.
The 28-year-old said: 'Four Angels in a week. My heart is just so heavy & broken. I'm in shock, numb and feel everything all at the same time.
'Leah & Rasual (one of my closest friends and her amazing other half who also was a great friend), Bryanna (my step sister) and Q (my little cousin), you were such bright lights in this crazy world. You made everyone better just by knowing them. And your smiles made anyone's day better. The world is less sparkly without you in it. Rest In Peace and Power. I love you forever. Jordin's 16-year-old step-sister Bryanna died from complications due to sickle cell anemia on Tuesday.
Former NBA player Rasual and his wife Leah were killed in a single-car accident on Wednesday morning. Jordin did not reveal the cause of her cousin, Q's death.
