Brand new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle photos are released as the couple pose for their first ever official pictures together
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle photos have been released as the couple pose for their first ever official photo shoot to celebrate the news of their engagement.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were engaged this morning, delighting millions of fans around the world. The happy news was first revealed by Clarence House, on behalf of Prince Charles, who has said he is 'thrilled' by the engagement.
Following the exciting announcement this morning, the happy couple posed for official photographs at Kensington Palace in the afternoon in front of media from around the world.
In their first 'formal' pictures together, Meghan and Harry looked relaxed and happy together in the Sunken Garden outside Kensington Palace, with American actress Meghan flashing her gorgeous engagement ring for the cameras.
According to reports, Prince Harry designed the beautiful ring himself - making it even more special for the couple. On the gold band is one stone from Botswana, in Africa, where the couple took a special holiday together earlier this year, and two stones which previously belonged to Prince Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.
Meghan chose a white jacket - fitting for a bride-to-be - for the important occasion, with nude heels, while Harry looked smart in a suit.
Fielding questions from the media while they smiled for pictures, Harry smiled while admitting that he knew Meghan was 'the one' straight away after meeting her.
