Prince William shares handwritten letter from Prince George with Father Christmas

And he just wants one thing!

Prince William was snapped today handing over a letter from Prince George to Father Christmas, asking for just one thing this year.

During a visit to a festive market in Helsinki, Prince William presented his son's handwritten Christmas wish list to Santa Claus – so let's hope he's been on his best behaviour and made the nice list.

In the letter the dad-of-two handed over to Father Christmas, the four-year-old – Kate and William's eldest child – had listed that he would like to receive a police car under the tree.

Despite there being lots of space for the mini royal to list at least five gifts, George reveals that all he would like for Christmas is a police car, before signing his name clearly at the bottom.

And where the piece of paper asks whether Prince George has been 'naughty or nice' the four-year-old has circled 'nice' - so the young prince clearly thinks that he is deserving of his present this year.

The letter was delivered by Prince William during a trip to Esplanade Park's Christmas market on the second day of his tour of Finland.

Earlier today the 36-year-old was admiring a pair of hobby horses - an ideal gift for either Charlotte or George - during a visit to a tech festival in Helsinki.

William appeared to be in good spirits as he wandered the stalls of the student-driven event, testing out the latest tech on display.

The father-of-two was in his element as he tested out a virtual reality head set during his tour of the event.

While we won't know what Father Christmas will bring the two young royals until Christmas morning, it's been revealed that George and Charlotte will each get personalised Santa's sack to put at the end of the bed on Christmas Eve.

The hand-printed bags cost £27 each from Selfridges and are a two-and-a-half foot high so will have plenty of room for all their presents – especially George's requested police car.

The sacks say that the presents get there by 'Reindeer delivery', while it also gives the return address as 'Father Christmas, The Elves Workshop, Returns Dept, Arctic Circle, The North Pole'.
