Princess Charlotte

Princess Charlotte received a very special memento on the day of the royal wedding from her new aunt, Meghan Markle.

The little royal looked just like the princess she is as she walked down the aisle at St George's Chapel, as part of Meghan Markle's bridal party, as her brother Prince George also fulfilled his role as pageboy.

The three-year-old, who recently became a big sister to baby brother Prince Louis, seemed delighted to be part of her uncle and new aunt's big day, as she walked with the other bridesmaids in the chapel.

But we bet there's something else making the Princess very happy today, as it was revealed she received a very special present from the bride herself.

Alongside her gorgeous Givenchy dress, Charlotte was wearing beautiful white leather Aquazurra shoes, monogrammed with her initials and the wedding date, which were a gift from Meghan - how sweet!

An official statement on the Kensington Palace website providing more details on the bridesmaids' outfits read: 'The Bridesmaids are wearing white leather Aquazurra shoes; each pair is monogrammed with the Bridesmaids initials, and the wedding date. The shoes are a gift from Ms. Markle to the young ladies as a keepsake of the special day.'

Kensington Palace also revealed more details about the dresses the bridesmaids wore, explaining that they were also designed by the same designer who made Meghan's beautiful wedding dress.

The statement read: 'Clare Waight Keller designed the six young Bridesmaids’ dresses in the Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier in Paris. The dresses were designed to have the same timeless purity as Ms. Markle's dress.

'Each dress is sculpted in Ivory silk Radzimir, and is high-waisted with short puff sleeves and hand finished with a double silk ribbon detail tied at the back in a bow. The Bridesmaids’ dresses include pockets and pleated skirts to create a relaxed and luxurious silhouette.'
