Rob Kardashian shocks social media fans after piercing four-month-old daughter's ears

Fans immediately questioned the reality TV star's choice.

Rob Kardashian has been slammed by fans after piercing his four-month-old baby daughter's ears.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a picture to social media site Instagram yesterday, showing a close up of his baby daughter Dream's face.

The four-month-old baby can be seen staring at something behind the camera, with her head turned to the side as she appears to be gurgling in that adorable way that babies do best.

But what would usually just be a very cute picture has sparked an online debate, as a piercing can be spotted in Dream's tiny ears.

Next to the picture of his daughter, Rob simply wrote 'Morning'.

The photo has already gained lots of attention from the 30-year-old's 8.8 million following, being liked over 200k times and receiving over a thousand comments.

Some fans were supportive towards Rob's post, commenting on how cute Dream looks.

One fan wrote, 'She is so beautiful. You cherish every second with her.' and another said, 'Gorgeous simply gorgeous!'.

But some followers were quick to question Rob's parenting choice, asking in disbelief if he had really pierced such a young child's ears.

One user asked the dad if he had actually pierced Dream's ears, showing their opinion on the subject with three downwards thumb emojis, 'Pierced ears, on a baby? 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿'

Similarly another follower wrote, 'Yikes. Pierced ears on a baby???? 😣😨' and another simply exclaimed with shocked faces, 'Ears pierced !!!!!!!!!!!! 😲😲😲😲😲'.

A third Instagram user said, 'she's a proper wee baby and already has her ears done 😶'.

Rob's close up post comes after he shared a collage of images with followers, featuring this particular image which he then chose to re-post later.
