Sugababes star Siobhan Donaghy is pregnant with her first child

Sugababes star Siobhan Donaghy is expecting her first child with husband Chris McCoy.

The performer, who shot to fame in the band’s original line-up in the early noughties, and confirmed her return to the group in 2012, took to Instagram to make the happy announcement, posting a picture of herself wearing an all-black outfit and sunglasses and posing with her growing bump.

‘Working on a little something for the summer’ she quipped alongside the sweet snap, adding a baby emoji to her caption.

Followers were quick to shower Siobhan with their congratulations, with one writing: ‘So happy for you! Wishing you an easy pregnancy and lots of health!’ and another adding: ‘Oh my goodness congratulations @siobhandonaghy I’m so happy for you guys!!’

‘Congratulations you two! Wishing you a lovely and easy pregnancy!!! 🎉😍👶’ a third commenter agreed.

Siobhan, 32, and long-term partner Chris married in a private ceremony on 17 January 2013, with both Mutya and Keisha, Siobhan’s fellow Sugababes, in attendance.

When asked by a fan whether or not she would be fsharing any photographs from her big day, Siobhan said at the time: ‘It’s a very small & private event. But I’m super excited now. I’ll share a picture from the day further down the line.’

2017 looks set to be a busy year for Siobhan; in addition to her baby news, she previously confirmed that the Sugababes, who have also worked together under their reformed name of Mutya Keisha Siobhan, would be releasing a new record.

Speaking during an interview with Wandsworth radio, she revealed: ‘Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date, I know but I can’t tell you. It’s next year.’

‘We’ve been back and then there was a bit of a break. But we’re working on it again, so it’s exciting.’
