Tia Mowry reveals infertility issues made it very hard to conceive her second child

The Sister Sister actress is preparing to welcome a baby girl with husband Cory Hardict

Tia Mowry has spoken candidly about the struggles she faced while trying to conceive her second child.

The Sister Sister star has admitted that she delayed trying for a little one, even though it's something she really wanted, as a result of having endometriosis.

'I didn't think I'd be able to have a second child, and it's been over seven years since my first pregnancy. I put it off, but I did want to have another child,' said Tia.

'I didn't let my infertility issues define me or define what my goals were and what I wanted out of life. We did try for a long time. It was hard. But I didn't give up.'

Tia - who recently announced that she and husband Cory Hardrict are expecting a baby girl in an adorable gender reveal video - went on to say that she's adoring being a mum-to-be.

'I just feel so much joy with [this pregnancy]. Also, who knows if I'll ever be able to get pregnant again? So I am embracing and enjoying every moment,' the actress told People.

'I just wanted to really embrace every moment and also keep moving. My first pregnancy, I was afraid to do anything, and I feel better [now] because I'm moving, dancing.'

Tia, 39, made her happiness quite clear yesterday when she took to Instagram to show fans her changing figure.
