Halo Top launches three delicious new flavours

Low calorie ice cream brand Halo Top has announced that it's launching three tasty new flavours, prompting guilt-free dessert lovers across the country to grab for their nearest spoon.

Summer may be over, but the nation’s love affair with ice cream certainly isn’t. And now calorie-conscious ice cream fans can tuck into three new offerings from hit American brand Halo Top Creamery –  all of which come in at under 360 calories per tub!

Moreish pots of Candy Bar, Cookies & Cream and Dairy-free Chocolate have hit supermarket shelves in the UK, bringing the total number of Halo Top flavours to a lip licking 16.

And it’s good news for those with intolerances as the new launch includes a dairy-free, vegan-friendly alternative. The brand have described the new flavours below to whet shoppers’ appetites:

  • Candy Bar – The perfect sweet treat that combines layers and swirls of chocolate and caramel and crunchy peanut pieces
  • Cookies & Cream – This smooth tub is packed with cookie crumbles dunked in creamy vanilla
  • Dairy-free Chocolate – The perfect chocolatey pick-me-up is now available in a dairy-free alternative, made with delicious coconut milk

The news follows the arrival of the Birthday Cake, Red Velvet and Oatmeal Cookie flavours in July, which debuted alongside vegan-friendly additions, including Toasted Coconut, Sea Salt Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cup.

Halo Top tubs contain between 280-360 calories and have between five to eight grams of sugar per serving, making them a popular choice with dieters in need of a cheat day hit.

Over on the brand’s UK and Ireland Instagram page, ice cream connoisseurs have shared a lot of love for the range.

One wrote: ‘Seriously need to try this flavour, salted caramel is my favourite it’s the best ice cream and love that I don’t have to feel guilty after!’

While another added: ‘Tried it for the first time last night mint choc chip was divine!’

Founded in LA in 2011, Halo Top has proved a runaway success since it made it’s UK debut in January 2018. The brand is stocked in leading supermarkets including Tesco and can also be snapped up at online retailers including Ocado.
