Mary Berry Quick Cooking: What can you expect?

One of the nation’s favourite cooks is back with a brand new cooking show and it’s perfect if you want good family food that is quick and easy to cook. The recipes are all inspired by the places Mary has visited and deliver lots of flavour without you having to stick by the stove for hours.

Mary begins her journey in Italy and makes her first ever visit to Rome. While there she takes moped tour of the city and rustles up some mouth-watering Bruschetta, speedy pasta and an irresistible Tiramisu…

In episode two, Mary embarks on her first ever music festival and shares her indulgent boozy rum and raisin ice cream.

Heading to the bustling alleyways of Marrakesh’s Medina for episode three, Mary is inspired by the aromatic flavours and smells of the market and cooks up a speedy Lamb tagine, a spicy carrot hummus and a fresh summer salad which is perfect for the warmer months.

Hopping on-board the HMS Defender in episode four, Mary discovers how the navy are fed against the clock and on a tight budget. Taking inspiration from her experience, once back in her own kitchen Mary cooks up a crumble fish pie, a special cauliflower soup and mini sausage rolls.

For the penultimate episode Mary explores the West End of London and learns all about the art of high-speed wok cooking in Chinatown. Her Asian beef and pepper stir-fry is perfect if you want a family meal that’s fast and full of flavour!

Finally, during the last episode Mary explores how the restaurants and cafes at Heathrow airport feed the 80 millions people that visit the terminals each year and creates recipes inspired by flavours from all over the world. She makes a wonderful apple sandwich cake, chicken korma and some extra special roast scallops.
