Morrisons new café meal deal means families of four can dine out for just £10

Morrisons' family meal deal is only available for a limited time.

Morrison’s has launched a family-friendly deal that allows families of four to eat and drink at their in-store supermarket cafés for just £10.

The offer, which launched yesterday (Wednesday 9th January), includes four main meals, four drinks and two pieces of fruit.

Head of café at Morrisons, Helen Tordoff, explained that the chain understands that January can be a particularly difficult time for families after the hectic Christmas period:

‘We’ve listened to our customers and we know that this is the time of year when they might feel the pinch.’

She continued: ‘We know that families want to be able to eat out and we hope that by offering this deal, we can help them afford an enjoyable café meal without the washing up.’

Customers have the freedom of ordering any main from the café menu, with adult mains including hand-battered fish and chips, freshly prepared chicken and avocado salad or the Morrisons Makes it Burger, which is handmade in store by supermarket butchers.

The children’s options include chicken nuggets or spaghetti bolognese, along with drinks such as Tropicana or milk.

The offer will be available everyday from 3pm in all Morrisons cafés until 3rd February 2019.

This isn’t the first time that Morrisons has gone out of its way to help loyal customers out, as it also launched its free fruit scheme in December. The scheme offers free fruit to children in an effort to help them get one of their five-a-day.

On Monday of this week, the supermarket also announced that it would cut prices on as many as 935 products, with up to 2 per cent off cupboard essentials like tinned tomatoes, cereals and multivitamins to help heal your January blues.

The discount will also be extended to sandwich fillers, kids’ lunchbox snacks and ready meals too.

Buh bye January blues!
