Aldi has launched three new gin flavours as part of their summer Gin Festival.
Aldi is bringing back their summer Gin Festival – and they’re treating us to three new gins in the process.
When it comes to alcoholic tipples, Aldi knows what they’re doing.
Time and time again the budget supermarket brings us a host of drinks at super-low prices that we just can’t resist.
But when the summer hits, there’s one drink that Aldi do better than anybody else – gin.
The summer staple is going nowhere and each year brands across the industry with more weird and wonderful to infuse in the popular spirit.
And now Aldi is bringing back their gin festival with the appearance of three brand new flavours.
So what new flavours can you expect?
Well first up is the Gin Lane Rhubarb Gin, which mixes sweet rhubarb notes with citrus fruits for a sweet and fresh but slightly tart taste.
If that’s not for you, try out the new Blackcurrant & Liquorice Gin, which blends the fruit with fragrant coriander, liquorice and citrus. It also has the addition of almond, to add a nutty sweetness to the drink.
But, if you’re looking for a gentler gin liqueur rather than a full-on spirit, try the store’s The Infusionist Raspberry & Elderflower Gin Liqueur which adds juniper and citrus to the classic flavours. And bonus – the tipple comes in a trendy pink colour to make your drinks extra summery.
The retailer’s summer range also includes Greyson’s Seville Orange & Persian Lime Gin (£14.99), Infusionist Parma Violet Gin Liqueur (£9.99) and Infusionist Rhubarb, Pink Grapefruit & Black Pepper Gin Liqueur (£9.99).
The two new gins come in at £19.99 each while the liqueur is only £9.99 and all will be available online and in stores across the country from 26th May – just in time for the bank holiday!
