Aldi is releasing two new ice creams that are high in protein and low in calories.
The new Gianni’s ice creams comes in two delicious flavours: Choc Chip Cookie Dough and Salted Caramel.
And, if you’re trying to reduce your calorie intake, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Salted Caramel flavour comes in at just 302 calories, while the Cookie Dough flavour has 352 calories – for the whole tub!
But that’s not all…
The high protein, low calorie treats can be purchased for just £1.99 per 480ml, which is more than have the price of branded equivalents.
The purple Choc Chip Cookie Dough tub contains vanilla ice cream packed with gooey cookie dough chunks and chocolate chips, whilst the orange Salted caramel tub includes irresistible salted caramel ice cream with silky caramel sauce swirled right through.
The lovely tubs of creamy goodness will be available nationwide from 4th March.
They have, however, already started to hit some stores in the UK – so if you can’t wait to try them, you might wanted to visit your closest Aldi store and have a look to see if they’re in stock.
Aldi’s not the only supermarket to have low-calorie ice cream on offer at the moment, as Asda has also recently launched a guilt-free ice cream that comes in three lovely flavours: vanilla, peanut butter and birthday cake.
The recent flurry of warm weather has well and truly had ice cream on the brain – and what could possibly be better than ice cream you can enjoy without worrying about the calorie content?
