Birds Eye brings back Findus Crispy Pancakes just in time for Pancake Day!

Birds Eye's Crispy Pancakes are out today for just £1.75 per pack.

Birds Eye has announced they are re-introducing their famous Crispy Pancakes in honour of Pancake Day.

The frozen favourite has been given a serious upgrade, as this time round the pancakes will feature an even more crispy and golden breadcrumb crust, with each filling being made out of premium ingredients.

The three new crispy pancake flavours are mozzarella, tomato and mozzarella and ham and mozzarella.

The savoury microwaveable delights will be available in the frozen section of Sainsbury's from today for just £1.75 per pack.

This news is especially thrilling for any current mums who remember their own mother serving up Findus Crispy Pancakes at dinner-time when they were a child.

Alessandro Solazzi, Marketing Manager at Birdseye, which used to be known as Findus, has stated:

'Findus Crispy Pancakes were an unforgettable part of childhood for many people living in the 70s, 80s and even early 90s. We want modern families to enjoy the same memorable mealtime moments.'

'The new Birds Eye Crispy Pancakes still have the iconic crunch of the breadcrumb coating but thanks to new recipes and extra filling they are oozing with delicious flavour.'

The company has also announced that they are so certain customers will love the revamped Crispy Pancakes, that they'll even give a refund to anyone who isn't impressed:

'We're so confident in the new taste that we are putting our money where our mouth is and allowing customers to claim their money back if they disagree.'
