  • We may only just be approaching the Christmas season, but some minds are already on Easter.

Sure, we might not yet even have hit Halloween – the date when it is deemed universally acceptable to get into the festive spirit – but when it comes to chocolate timing doesn’t matter.

So that’s why we’re totally up for this amazing new Easter release that we’ve just come across.

Chocolate giant Cadbury has come out with their Easter range for next year – and we kind of want it all now.

As much as we love the mince pies and Quality Street of the Christmas season, nothing can beat the abundance of Cadbury’s eggs – both creme and mini – that we get to dig into in the run up to Easter.

And now the brand has unveiled two brand new products that we’ll be delving into as soon as we can get our hands on them.

They have revealed that they will be releasing huge tins of both creme eggs and mini eggs for next year’s Easter season.

Both available at £5.99 each, the Cadbury’s Heroes style tins will contain bags of the popular eggs for anyone who loves the classic Easter chocolates.

The Mini Eggs Gifting Tin, which will contain 319g worth of product, will hold 10 bags of the chocolate-filled sweet crispy shells.

While the 409g Creme Egg Gifting Tin will contain eight bags of the sugary fondant-filled chocolate eggs plus a bag of the mini bite-size version.

Both tins will also feature codes that customers can scan with their smartphones and be taken to an online page full of creative Creme Egg recipes and Mini Eggs recipes to make with the chocolates.

The chocolatier is also set to release a whole load of other sweet springtime goodies – including a range of mousse-filled chocolate bunnies (vanilla and orange – yum!)

And for dark chocolate lovers, there is also said to be a new Bournville Easter egg, a Bournville orange version and, for those who prefer it a bit creamier, a Cadbury Darkmilk Easter Egg.

Possibly the only bad news to come from the wondrous unveiling? It’s come so super early that there’s no official release date yet and we’re probably going to have to wait a good few months to get our hands on it (we suspect the range will come available around January time).

It may not be acceptable to dig into a tin while the Christmas decorations are still up, but we might just take the judgement and grab a few tins as soon as they hit the shops.
