Costa Coffee introduces Shimmer Coffees to add festive sparkle to your morning cuppa

They are the brains behind the hugely popular Lindt hot chocolate, as well as the naughty but oh SO nice Billionaire's Hot Chocolate, but now Costa are taking their Christmas drinks offering to another level of festive with cups of coffee that really do sparkle.

The high-street coffee chain are really getting in to the festive spirit this year, and to celebrate the final countdown to Christmas Day, Costa Coffee are introducing 'shimmering coffee' to make sure your morning latte well and truly shines.

We love a bit of glitter over here at GoodtoKnow HQ, whether it’s putting it in a glass to pimp our prosecco, or baking sparkly cupcakes for a special occasion. So, this latest announcement from Costa will definitely have us hurrying down to our local café for a festive fix of sparkle.

Jumping on the back of the trend for glitter coffees, which sees people accessorising their morning caffeine hit with a touch of sparkle, Costa Coffee are adding limited edition shimmer coffees to their menu for Christmas.

Apparently you can add a touch of festive sparkle to any Flat Whites or Cortados you order this week. Sweet!

But, there is a catch. If you want to add glitter to your morning cuppa you better be quick. The Shimmer Coffees will only be in Costa Coffee shops from 18th December and are only available for one week only. Plus, they will only be available while stocks last – so when the glitter is gone, its gone people!

Commenting on Costa's decision to take their festive drinks menu to the next level Gennaro Pellicia, Master Taster at Costa Coffee said: 'Christmas is such a magical time of year and this festive season we couldn't resist adding a final sparkle to top off 2017 with the launch of our limited edition Shimmer Coffees.'
