M&S have announced a flash sale on red wine - and you’ll have to be quick!

M&S are launching a flash sale on red wine, and we can’t think of anything that says 'Bank Holiday weekend' more…

It’s nearly Friday, and we’re getting ready to celebrate May Day Bank holiday weekend, and the sunny weather (hopefully).

And, with a little bit of help from M&S it is sure to be a good weekend with their latest red wine flash sale.

Customers can pick up four cheeky wines for - wait for it - under £5 each.

But, you better hurry because the offer is only available from 2nd-6th May.

All four delicious red wines are now valued at a third off, at just £4.66 each, reduced from £7.

The offer includes their 2018 Weather Station Malbec Shiraz, which they describe as ‘ripe and smooth’ with a hint of spice. It’s made from the juiciest grapes with a touch of oak. This is a perfect match for a meaty barbeque steak.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, a 2017 vintage, is a ‘vibrant Italian’ red wine, with black pepper aromas. It comes from Montepulciano wine grape in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy, and goes particularly well alongside a cheesy burger or a meaty pasta dish.

They describe their 2018 Beaujolais as a ‘lively, fresh and juicy' red wine, with cherry and redcurrant flavours. It’s been left unoaked giving it a smooth feel. It will go down an absolute treat paired with a charcuterie if you’re planning a picnic this weekend.

The Marqués de Alarcon Tempranillo Syrah, also a 2018 vintage, is a ‘smooth and fruit’ red wine, with a hint of black cherry and plum. It’s from sunny Spain La Mancha región and will go down a treat with manchego or a spicy paella.
