Nando’s have launched their new lunch menu – including a PERi-PERi rice bowl!

We all love Nando’s, but sometimes we want something lighter at lunch time - thankfully, the popular chicken restaurant has done just that.

The new Nando’s lunch menu is being trialled across UK restaurants from 10th September until 2nd December, with meals priced at a wallet-friendly £5.95.

For those of you who enjoy rice bowls for a filling lunchtime treat, Nando’s have created their very own PERi-PERi version which we can’t wait to try. It’s available exclusively with the new lunch menu, so you’d have to go before 3pm if you want to try it out.

It comes with chicken fillet pieces, the restaurant’s famous spicy rice, chargrilled peppers, spinach and lightly dressed corn. Naturally, you can choose what spice you want as well, whether you prefer playing it safe or turning up the heat.

Fan favourites also feature on the new customisable menu such as ¼ chicken with one side, 3 wings and one side, Caesar Salad and Veggie Cataplana.

As ever, all your favourite sides are available whether you prefer rice, grains, mash, corn or chips with your chicken. We know it’s a hard choice.

Better yet, a lot of the items on the menu come in at under 600 calories, so they’re great if you’re after a light bite or you’re watching your weight. Yes, you can still enjoy a cheeky Nando’s even if you’re currently on a diet. What’s not to love about that?

The Nando’s lunch menu is available to dine in and takeaway, making it ideal for busy workers and students to enjoy on the go, or even at their desks if they’re pushed for time. Because let’s face it – we’ve all been there!

If you want to try it, the menu is available until 3pm from Monday to Thursday until the beginning of December. It’s only available in 88 Nando’s restaurants at the moment, so best to check their website to find out if yours is there.

Perhaps after a successful trial, they’ll be willing to roll it out long-term? We’ll have to wait and see…
