Video: How to skin a pepper

  1. Cut the peppers in half and de-seed them. Place them upside down on a baking tray.
  2. Pop the peppers under the grill at the highest heat for about 10mins.
  3. When the peppers are black and charred it means they’re ready. Remove from grill and place them inside a freezer bag in a single layer, seal the bag and leave the peppers to cool.
  4. Take them out of bag and peel off the skins – you can use a knife if you find it easier.
