Bananas go so well with chocolate and peanuts so why not combine all three ingredients to make a delicious and simple loaf cake? We’ve used Reese’s Pieces bars for our chocolate peanut mix but you could also use a combination of dark chocolate and smooth peanut butter. When you’re making the loaf, keep the pieces of chocolate fairly big so that they hold their shape once cooked. That way everyone will find a chunk of chocolate in their slice. Unlike other cakes, banana-based ones get better with time as the bananas make the cake moist and flavoursome.
