Create a coffee-shop standard hot chocolate in your home by combining cocoa and chocolate hazelnut spread for a rich, luxury treat
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
- 300ml (1/2pint) milk
- 1 tablespoon chocolate hazelnut spread (eg Nutella)
Put the cocoa powder into a large jug and whisk in the 200ml (7 floz) milk then the chocolate hazelnut spread. Microwave on High for 1 minutes, whisk and microwave on High for another 30 seconds. Whisk again and pour into a heatproof glass or mug.
Pour the remaining milk into the jug. Microwave on High for 30 seconds or longer until hot. Whisk well to make a froth and spoon, or pour, on top of the hot chocolate.
Dust with cocoa powder.
Use full fat milk for a creamy taste
