Quick and easy to make, this recipe is sure to please and creates a delicious, sticky glaze for a tender piece of pork. The delicious honey, mustard and orange sauce turns pork loin chops into something a little special for a midweek dinner. Serve with potatoes and a green vegetable or a simple salad – so easy to make when you dash in from work and want a meal on the table quickly.
- 2tbsps olive oil
- 4 loin pork chops
- 2tbsps runny honey
- 2tbsps Dijon mustard
- 1tbsp orange juice
Heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium heat. Add the chops and cook for 15 – 20 minutes, turning once, until they are fully cooked and the juices run clear.
Mix the honey, mustard and orange juice together in a small bowl.
Reduce the heat, then pour the sauce over the chops in the frying pan.
Cook for a few minutes to heat through, allowing the sauce to bubble. Serve the chops with the sauce poured over.
Try thinly sliced pork fillet instead of chops and serve with rice or noodles. The sauce makes a deliciously sticky glaze to pour over chops, chicken portions or sausages before oven baking or roasting.
