Mulled white wine is subtley spiced and shows that mulled wine doesn’t have to be red so try it for a change with this e asy recipe that’s ready in just 20 minutes


  • 1 bottle fruity white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 700ml white grape juice
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1tsp ground coriander
  • Pinch ground cloves
  • Handful blueberries
  • A good splash of Cointreau


  • In a large pan, gently warm the white wine, white grape juice, cinnamon, apple, sliced, lemon, orange, coriander, cloves, blueberries and a good splash of Cointreau.

  • Do not boil, but leave over a very low heat for at least 15 mins. Serve hot.

Top tip for making Mulled white wine

This tastes even better if made a few hours ahead and reheated.
