Mulled white wine is subtley spiced and shows that mulled wine doesn’t have to be red so try it for a change with this e asy recipe that’s ready in just 20 minutes
- 1 bottle fruity white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
- 700ml white grape juice
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1tsp ground coriander
- Pinch ground cloves
- Handful blueberries
- A good splash of Cointreau
In a large pan, gently warm the white wine, white grape juice, cinnamon, apple, sliced, lemon, orange, coriander, cloves, blueberries and a good splash of Cointreau.
Do not boil, but leave over a very low heat for at least 15 mins. Serve hot.
This tastes even better if made a few hours ahead and reheated.
