This refreshing yogurt drink with fresh papaya makes a healthy start to the day. Bursting with fruity flavour this drink is delicious. You could even serve it with papaya on top for fruity finish


  • 1 papaya, deseeded, skinned and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 x 500ml carton natural yoghurt
  • Pinch ground cardamon
  • 1-2 sp caster sugar
  • Crushed ice, to serve


  • Purée the papaya using a stick blender or in a food processor. Add the yogurt and cardamon.

  • Whizz the mixture until blended. Add sugar to taste. Keep chilled until you’re ready to serve and pour over crushed ice.

This recipe also works well with mango instead of papaya!
