This strawberry mule cocktail is so easy to make. Made with fresh strawberries and Jamaican rum, it’s perfect for early barbecues
- 25-50ml rum
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- 25ml lime
- 2 tsp sugar
- 4-5 ripe strawberries
- Ginger beer, to top up
- 1 strawberry, to garnish
Press strawberries in a shaker then shake all ingredients apart from the ginger beer with cubed ice.
Fine strain into a highball or Collins glass over cubed ice and then top with ginger beer.
Garnish with half a strawberry on top and two tall straws.
Angostura bitters are available in the booze aisle of most big supermarkets - it will cost a few quid to buy but one bottle will last you a lifetime!
