I’m not one of those sporty types – the most exercise I usually do is a brisk walk to my local – but I’ve decided I want to tone up a bit, so I’ve started jogging.
For the last three weeks I’ve been out for a run almost every other day. I know! I can’t believe it either.
I expected it to be tough going to start with, but everyone assured me that once I ‘found my pace’ I’d actually start enjoying it.
Um, sorry, what’s that now?
It’s exhausting. It hurts. It’s boring AND I’m too knackered afterwards to enjoy my evening. When does the ‘fun’ kick in, I wonder?
