Cheryl Cole ‘offered £3m US X Factor deal’

Cheryl Cole has reportedly been offered £3million to become a judge on the American version of The X Factor.

Simon Cowell, 51, is said to have invited executives from US network Fox to London on Saturday to see the Girls Aloud star in action on the ITV show.

They were so impressed with Cheryl, 27, that she was offered a one-year deal there and then.

‘She was absolutely delighted,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Cheryl has really charmed the American execs. They love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve.

‘And of course her chemistry with Simon played a huge part in it. They are great together.’

Simon is expected to officially announce the judging line-up for US X Factor next month.

Cheryl’s rep had no comment about the rumoured deal.

An X Factor spokesman adds: ‘No decision has been made yet.’
